Effective September 2025, Black history is to be included in the history curriculum for grades 7, 8 and 10 by highlighting how Black communities contributed to Canada pre and post Confederation including the obstacles they faced in establishing themselves in Canada.

Through its annual symposium, 100 ABC women have honourees with expertise in defined subject areas to engage in table top discussions that will cover: Pre-Confederation – i.e. pre 1867, Confederation to Repatriation of Constitution 1867 – 1982, and Constitution to today – 1982-2024.
