Happy Black History Month

This year we celebrate the 30th anniversary of when Dr. Jean Augustine brought forward the motion to recognize the month of February as Black History Month. During this month, we take extra time to recognize the artistry, creative ingenuity, and the persistent willpower of the African descendent communities that reside here in Canada.

How We're Celebrating

As a way of celebrating the close of Black History Month in February, Oddside Arts invites Black community members to an afternoon of creative exploration, play, and good company.

Location: Downtown Toronto

Food will be provided.

Spots are limited to 20 participants.

Please note: This rendition of Shifting Soil is specifically for Black community members. We will have other renditions of the workshop that will take place throughout the year for all identity groups.
