Untitled Too

Artist: segun caezar

I, Segun Caezar, was made in contrast—in the tension between light and shadow, past and present, movement and stillness. My work reflects this balance, always exploring the space where opposites meet.

These black and white koi fish are more than a pattern; they are a reflection of my own existence. Koi symbolize endurance, transformation, and history—silent observers of time, much like the themes I explore in my art. Their endless cycle of motion represents the balance I seek in my work, where realism meets abstraction, and tradition meets reinvention.

Within this quilt pattern and my paintings, you’ll find a story beyond the soil—a story of creation, identity, and the forces that continue to shape me.
