I am who I am because of the shapes I don’t understand
The scribbles in my spirit make a coherent tree
I have always come full circle, regardless if I branch out, I’ve done so because I had no choice
And because it felt better, to explore the nature of everything
I grew up sheltered, maybe there was a fear of how I’d blossom,
As if my soil couldn’t be trusted, it’s depth ignored by those that fetishize the surface
Pity, when they bite my fruit they’ll only taste the shell, but still, because my soil, I have no choice but to branch out.

Paul Ohonsi (Ohm)
Paul Ohonsi is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in Cinematography, Directing and Live performance. His work is inspired by the stories he feels when he embodies the character 'Ohm' who is wildly expressive through poetry and dance. He has written and performed many one man shows for the past 8 years and plans to add to the art of performance by creating experiences and visuals that push the boundaries of what entertainment can do.
